The Kaduna state public procurement Authority (KADPPA) in collaboration with stakeholders have organized a three days workshop for procurement officials across ministries and local government areas on procurement process and disposal.
The sensitization programme with theme, “Strengthening Compliance, Transparency and Service Delivery in Kaduna State, which recently held at Stonehedge hotel in Kaduna.
In his addressed the Kaduna state governor Senator Uba Sani represented by the state head of service, Mrs Jimmai Bako, has reaffirmed the commitment of the state government in Strengthening public institutions, ensuring the prudent and accountable management of public resources.
She however commended the KADPPA for organizing this important programme, also urged the participants to take take full ownership of knowledge and skills that required during the training.
“the training commencing today is an important component of institutional reform agenda, for Strengthening capacity of procurement across the MDAs and LGAs.”
“”it’s our responsibility as a public servants to ensure that this investment produces desired results, through the improvement of performance greater compliance, enhance transparency, strong accountability and better value for money in the Management of public resources.”
Also speaking, the commissioner of women affairs and social development, Dr Rabi Salisu, hails governor Uba Sani visionary leadership and in particular for his sustained support for institutional reform, women’s capital development and continue professionalization of the state public service.
She however commended the governor for modernization of contracts awarding by eradication sentiment guidelines with affirmative actions policy.
Representing the ALGON Chairman Kaduna state, the council Chairman Kajuru local government Honourable Dauda Madawaki, salute the director general KADPPA for his outstanding performance towards generating over Two Hundred billions Naira to state Treasury froy2021 to 2025.

Earlier in his remarks, the Director general Kaduna state public procurement Authority, Engineer Sanusi A Yero, appreciate governor Uba Sani support for initiative of this nature demonstrates his understanding thay effective governance requires strong institutions.
“strong institutions require competent and professional equipped personal, also thanks all the stakeholders for their tremendous support towards smooth conduct of the workshop.”
