The Zamfara State Coordinator of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), Hajiya Sadiya Bello, has paid a working visit to the Skills Acquisition Centres under the program in Gummi and Anka local government areas to assess the progress of ongoing training under the state’s empowerment scheme.
During her visit to Gummi, the coordinator expressed satisfaction with the conduct and performance of both the Facilitators and trainees, commending their dedication to acquiring relevant skills for self-reliance.
She encouraged them to remain focused and make the best use of the opportunity provided by the State Government.
In Anka, Hajiya Sadiya made key observations and urged both the officials and trainees to renew their commitment and improve the pace and quality of the training.
She reminded them that the program is a vital part of the state’s Rescue Mission to tackle unemployment and poverty.
She reaffirmed the commitment of the Zamfara State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Dr. Dauda Lawal, to sustain and expand the empowerment program.
The Coordinator applauded the Governor and His wife Hajiya Huriya Dauda ,for reviving GEEP and placing youth and women Empowerment at the forefront of the Administration’s Development agenda.
