Pledges commitment to join hands to reposition State Ministry of works and infrastructures.
The newly posted Permanent Secretary to the ministry of works and infrastructure, has pledged his commitment to join hands with the leadership to reposition the Ministry.
Engr Haruna stated this, while maiden meeting with the Commissioner, Hon Lawal Barau, Directors and Management Staff, at the Commissioners office.
Haruna Dikko, who appreciated the Commissioner for the warm reception, accorded to Him said with their support, He was sure to succeed in His assigned duties as the accounting officer of the Ministry and urged the management staff to ensure they come to work early enough, so that they would be able to supervise their subordinates.
Earlier in his remarks, the Commissioner, Hon Lawal Barau who welcomed the newly posted Permanent Secretary, said he was happy to received Engr Haruna and assured Him of their cooperation and support, for him to succeed in his duties.
The Commissioner expressed hope that Haruna Dikko, will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his duties and wished him well in his tenure in office as Permanent Secretary posted to the Ministry of works and infrastructures
Meanwhile, the Director civil Engr Amiru Musa Anka and other management staff of the Ministry, in their separate speeches, joined the Commissioner to welcome the newly Permanent Secretary to the Ministry, praised him for timely service delivery and said issues of staff welfare be given top priority.
