The Executive Chairman, Zamfara state Universal Basic Education Board, ZSUBEB, Professor Nasir Garba Anka has described the death of a prominent leader, Ambassador Muhammad Zigum (MZ) Anka as a great loss not only to his family but the state and nation.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the board, Ibrahim Musa Maizare and made available to journalists in Gusau the state capital.
The Executive Chairman described Ambassador MZ Anka as a leader who dedicated his life time in the training of the younger generation within and outside the state.
He said late Ambassador MZ Anka also had sacrificed his life in inculcating good morals to his family according to teachings of Islam and was also a leader who contributed immensely in the development of Zamfara state and country in general .
He added that, MZ Anka had left a vacuum in Anka local government and Zamfara state which is difficult to fill adding that, he served as one of the pioneer leaders that struggled for the creation of Zamfara state and prayed Allah subhanahu wata ala to grant him with Jannatul firdaus and give His family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The professor also called on the family to accept the demise of their love one as a will of God because He loves him more than we do.
The Executive Chairman also condoled with the Zamfara state government, Anka Emirate and Nigeria in general for this indelible loss.
Late Ambassador MZ Anka was born in Anka town in 1938, he is survived by ten male and five female children.
