The state commandant and the management staff received the CLEEN foundation delegation, led by the program director Mr. Salauddeen Hashim Ph.D at the state administrative headquarters, Gusau on 5th November, 2024.
Mr. Salauddeen in his brief to the management staff advocated for strategic support from the state command in reaching the local communities and establishing a civil-military relationship by creating awareness and building trust in order to curtail the basic security challenges faced by the state.
He proclaimed, the NSCDC as the primary security outfit that interfaces directly with the populace in promoting peace, providing security to citizens and critical national assets & infrastructures; noting the essential role of the Corps to humanity, the CLEEN foundation deemed it significant to visit your esteemed office and outline our objectives to obtain excellence in our quest to promote a lasting peace in Zamfara state.
The program director concluded by appealing the command’s cooperation to their set initiatives, aimed to mitigate the impact of banditry and other security challenges in the state.
The state commandant, commandant Sani Mustapha in his response stated, Zamfara state command under his headship will give its best to ensure peace and security is achieved. Therefore, He termed this as a welcome development and affirmed the state command is committed to collaborate to attain sustainable peace in Zamfara state
