The zamfara NUJ Education Committee recently established has visited the Correspondents Chapel office to seek for collaboration and harmonius working relationship.
Speaking during the visit the chairman of the committee comrade Ahmad Sani Tsafe said they decided to visit the chapel due to its strategic position in running the affairs of the Nuj in any state.
He said, his committee has outline series of educational activities that would enhanced and advanced journalism profession in zamfara state and promote modern technology in journalists activities.
Comrade Ahmad Sani Tsafe said, his committee would collaborate with zamfara state government and relevant stake holders in education to ensure that journalists benefits from all kind of sponsors for training and retraining of journalists in the state to all relevant institutions
He further said the committee would also be organizing seminars and workshops from time to time to keep journalists updated on new journalism technics.He urged journalists in zamfara to support his committee for maximum success.
Comrade Ahmad Sani Tsafe said his committee would liaze with the the state council of the NUJ to solicit assistance from the state government in areas of manpower training and retraining as well as provision of computers to journalists.
In his response, the chairman of the Correspondents Chapel comrade Ishaq Zaki Tambuwal thank the committee for the visit and assured the committee all necessary support and cooperation needed by the committee to succeed.
Tambuwal assured the committee desire of the chapel to contribute in educating it’s members and promote journalism profession and to maintain discipline among members.
The chairman of the committee was accompanied to the visit by the secretary of the committee Jamilu Ibrahim,Aminu Insha and Abdulrahaman Chakwa
