Zamfara State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Sani Mustapha has expressed zero tolerance for vandalisation of any sort in Zamfara state.
The Commandant made this known when he addressed the Association of Scraped Products Buyers in Zamfara state.
Commandant Sani Mustapha reiterated the resolve of the Corps in Zamfara State to deal ruthlessly, using the extant laws of the Federation, with anyone who engages in the vandalisation of public utilities or patronize same.
He advised the Association to collaborate with the Corps in order to fish out perpetrators of such crimes in the State.
A press release issued by the Corps’public relations officer, SC Ikor Oche said that Commandant Sani Mustapha also charged the leadership of the Association to desist from buying any goods suspected to have been vandalized.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Association, Alh. Aminu Abbah who led the group, said the Association is ready to redeem the image of the State, as a result, he pledged to collaborate with the Corps to put an end to vandalisation of Government and private properties in the State.
The Chairman however extolled the doggedness of the Corps in the fight against insecurity and vandalisation in the state. He therefore promised to support the Corps in Zamfara State Command to root out vandalism in the state.
