The zamfara state governor Dauda Lawal has assured the people of the state that the forth coming local government election would be free and fair.
The gave the assurance during the inauguration of 100 member stakeholders of PDP members of local government.
He said, his administration is determined to conduct election that would be acceptable to all the parties involved and the general public.He further said all the necessary arrangements and support needed by Zaisec would be given to ensure that the election is free from any form of irregularities or misgivings.
Governor Dauda Lawal assured the youth in the state that they would be fully involved in the local government election as leaders and active participants.
He charged all those who are going to contest in various positions to play the game according to the rules and regulations.
Also speaking at the occasion, the state chairman of PDP Dr Jamilu Magayaki called on the stakeholders to ensure that people and members of the party are mobilize to support the laudable rescue programs of Governor Dauda Lawal that are aim at alleviating the suffering of the people of the state and move zamfara forward.
He charged all the stakeholders to be loyal to the party and maintain decorum while discharging their responsibilities.
Among the members of committee are Governor Dauda Lawal and his wife Hurraiya Dauda and notable members of PDP in Gusau local government
