The Zamfara State Comptroller of Immigration, Mr. M.S. Aliyu, has paid a courtesy visit to the State Coordinator of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), Hajiya Sadiya Bello Barade, seeking Collaboration and support for the inclusion of families of Immigration officers in the empowerment scheme.
During the visit, Mr. Aliyu commended the Zamfara State Governor Dr.Dauda lawal for initiating the empowerment scheme, and equally praised Hajiya Sadiya for her exemplary leadership and the transparent handling of recruitment and training processes in the program, and her long-standing philanthropic contributions to the less privileged across the state .
He noted that her efforts have positively impacted many vulnerable groups, especially women ,elderly and youth, irrespective of their political leaning .
In her remarks, Hajiya Sadiya expressed appreciation for the visit and assured the Comptroller of her commitment to extending the GEEP initiative to the families of Immigration personnel.
She also commended Mr. Aliyu for his selfless service, particularly the renovation of Saminaka Primary Healthcare Centre and other forms of logistical support provided under his leadership.
She reiterated that her office remains open to collaborations that will enhance grassroots empowerment, and reaffirmed her dedication to supporting all deserving communities in Zamfara State.
