Zamfara state Hajj Commission has constituted five standing committees to facilitate the conduct of 2024 Hajj exercise in the state.
A statement issued by the public relations officer of the commission, Ibrahim M Umar Gidan Tsaka and made available to journalists indicated that the Executive Chairman of the board, Alhaji Musa Mallaha ( Talban Gusau) has approved the constituted five standing committees.
According to the statement, Alhaji Musa mallaha ( Talban Gusau) through the Commission’s Secretary, Alhaji Umar Bello Jabaka announced this after holding a meeting with Permanent and Part-time members of the commission held at its conference hall.
The statement further stated that the transport and luggages committee will be headed by Alhaji Abubakar Bargaja Gummi, and Alhaji Aliyu Namoda, Alhaji Ayuba salihu Maibuhu Gummi, and Bello zauma, as the committee members.
Other committees are Da’awa, publicity and Hadaya committee under the leadership of Alhaji Iliyasu Buhari Maijega with Sheikh Ahmad Umar Kanoma, Sheikh Mansur Ahmad Makaranta, Sheikh Kabiru Umar Maru and Malan Ahmad Kwaren Ganuwa as members of the committee respectively.
The statement similarly explained that, the committee in charge of operations will be headed by Alhaji Kasimu Muhammad Tsafe, to be assisted by Sheikh Sa’idu Aliyu Maikwano, Sheikh Abul Mustapha, Muhammad Dan Asibi Shinkafi, Alhaji Abubakar iyan Rawayya and Hajiya Saratu suleman Anka, .
The statement added that the accommodation, feeding and tents committee will be led by Alhaji Haruna Abdullahi Godal and Salisu Bello Shahid, Hajiya Ubaida Shehu Bungudu and Malan Sanusi Sarkin Malaman Mafara as committee members.
According to the statement,, health and other medical activities committee has Malan Badamasi Dan Amadu and Malan Umar Hassan as members while the leader of the committee will be appointed later .
The statement also said that the Executive Chairman of the commission, Alhaji Musa Mallaha (Talban Gusau) charged the committees to work hard for the success of 2024 Hajji exercise.
