Over 3,000 Islamic Clerics selected from across the Islamic sects of the 14 local government areas of Zamfara State have observed special prayers session seeking divine intervention for the quick restoration of lasting peace in the state and the entire nation , as well as peaceful conduct of the forthcoming 2027 general elections and the unchallenging victory for incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Organized at his country home Talata Mafara on Saturday the Director General 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, the prayers which mainly focussed on the Nigerian troops and other personnel across security agencies fighting the insecurity to be divinely protected and empowered against all criminals and high profile terrorists disturbing peace in the country.
Amongst the teeming Chief Imams who offered prayers, Sheikh Liman Dan Alhaji from the Gusau major mosque, prayed for the peaceful conduct of the upcoming 2027 general elections, seeking more divine power to hit and destroy all agents of devil that have been planning to trigger political and religious crisis as weapons to disrupt peace during the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Also praying, a popular Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Sadiqu Saddeeq, further seek the divine grant for the competency and ability for Senator Yari to deliver the burden conferred on him by President Bola Tinubu to canvass for massive support ever towards achieving a landslide victory.
Sheikh Saddeeq further called on all good people of Zamfara State, to put in their minds that, the assignment given to Senator Yari, appeared a great challenge not only to him but the entire good people of the state, adding that, “All cameras are now panned directly on Senator Yari and his state, waiting to witness whether they are capable of making it or otherwise”.
Responding, Senator Yari urged the Clerics and Chief Imams to intensify prayers for Almighty Allah to throw stubborn thunders that would turn all the terrorists to become complete blinds and deafs to the extent they would never hear or see the locations and progressive makings upon legitimate living of innocent citizens of Zamfara State and Nigeria in general.
He further called on them to embark on special prayers for Almighty Allah to grant all his servants in Nigeria with adequate security of lives and property, peace of mind and the quick recovery of the economic’s lost glory.
