The Kaduna state governor Senator Uba sani, has urged Christian in the state to humbly continued pray for the sustainability of the peaceful co existence ever enjoined for the past six years in Kaduna state.
Governor Uba Sani made the pledged while addressing thousand of men and women’s Christian faith in an Christmas Carol, organised by Kaduna state government in conjunction with Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) held at Umaru Musa Yar adua hall, Murtala square in Kaduna.
According to the governor, the successful implementation of state peace model policy is because of the prayer’s good citizens of state, charged them to continued prays.
The governor also explained that hosting the Christmas Carol symbolised openness, inclusion and progress, describing Kaduna as a state where faith builds bridges, diversity drives development and unity guarantees a shared future.
Recalling his inauguration on May 29, 2023, Uba Sani said he had made a vow to govern Kaduna State without fear or favour, irrespective of faith, ethnicity or political affiliation.
Also assuring his total commitment to fairness, justice, equity and inclusive governance remained unbroken.
Earlier in his addressed, the Kaduna state Chapter Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Reverend Caleb Ma aji, said “the presence of governor Sani in the Christmas Carol its a testimony that the Kaduna peoples luckly have a leader with integrity and fairness implied within diverse citizens.
He promised to continued prayed, stand and be together with him to eight years for his administration.
Also speaking, the Secretary general Jama atul Nas rul Islam Professor Khalid Abubakar Aliyu, described governor Uba Sani as ambassador of peace, because for over sixty years ever with a government in the state organised such Christmas Carol.
He charged all citizens to considered asking their selves during the celebration that, what’s the role played and will play in the past and the coming year.
