The Recent Reduction in the Prices Of Food Stuffs across Zamfara State has been attributed to the Distribution Of Palliative Package Embarked Upon By The in State Former Governor And Senator Representing Zamfara West, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara).
Revealing this while receiving Report of the distribution exercise from the 14 Local Government Area Committees, Main Committee Chairman of the exercise, Hon. Lawal M. Liman (Gabɗon Ƙaura) said the event was the most amazing One because of its uniqueness.
He explained that the end result of the exercise was the lowering down of the cost of food stuff across the State which went a long way in cushioning the hardship being experienced by the People, especially the Common man because of the soaring effect of the high cost of living.
Hon. M Liman further stated that, despite the hurdles encountered in the exercise particularly the security situation in the State, Over 168, 000.00 Households in 147 Wards of 14 Local Government Areas received the Palliatives.
The chairman further thanked the devotion, passion, and tenacity of committee members and security agencies in ensuring the overall success of the exercise.
Hon. Lawal M Liman Confirmed that intended targets of the exercise were covered and as such almost all the People in the State had benefited either directly or otherwise and thanked Senator Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) for the gesture.
Recall that the Former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Representing Zamfara West, Sen. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has donated 152 Trucks Of Assorted Grains as Palliatives to the People Of Zamfara State as his intervention to improve their lives at the wake of fuel subsidy removal in the Country.
