The newly installed units are positioned at strategic locations, providing immediate and significant improvements to the hospital’s illumination, the release stressed.
“This project has transformed the facility into a more serene and accessible environment, particularly during nighttime hours.”
The press release further highlighted the advantages of the solar powered lamps which included
- Operational Continuity: Guarantees reliable lighting during power outages, ensuring critical healthcare services continue without disruption.
- Cost Efficiency: Reduces the hospital’s overall electricity costs and significantly lowers its dependence on expensive diesel-powered generators.
- Enhanced Safety: Improves security for patients, staff, and visitors, making movement across the premises safer and easier after dark.
Dr. Bello A. Mohammed expressed his profound appreciation to the Rural Electrification Agency for their prompt and positive response to the hospital’s needs.
