The federal law maker representing Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency Hon.Kabiru Amadu Mai palace has flagg off the distribution of Ramadan Package to 100,000 house hold in his constituency and state in general.
Speaking during the flagging off the distribution of the assorted food items,he said,he has decided to increase the number this year because of the growing number of the needy.
He said the distribution is designed to ensure that several venerable house hold are covered particularly in Gusau and Tsafe and the rest of the state.
He further said all PDP party executive in the 147 political wards in the state would benefit as well as state party executive, commissioners and all relevant stakeholders in the party and the general public in respective of political parties..
Hon.Mai palace said so far over 5000 bags of rice, and several cartoons of spaghettis, macaroni and indormine, vegetable oil are going to be distributed.
He called on PDP supporters to always be law abiding and support programs and policies of the government that are aim at alleviating the suffering of the masses.
Also speaking during the flagging off the distribution of Ramadan Package, the PDP state chairman Dr Jamilu Jibo Magayaki thank the law maker and urged other political office holders and wealthy individuals in society to assist the needy particularly during this Ramadan.
He called on people to emulate the law makers good gesture and appeal to PDP supporters to be resolute in duties and respective assignment.
Several people spoke in commendation of the law makers efforts.
