The national association of women’s in agriculture NAWIA Zamfara State Chapter has received unscheduled visits from the national board member of the association Alh Umar Dan Asabe.
Dan Asabe said the purpose of the visit is to build cordial relationship between the national head quarter of the association and the state chapter .
He commended the activities of the association in the state under the chairperson in the state Hajiya Shema’u Nalado for effort to promote the association forward as a welcome development.
He further explained that, the association has receiving support from international donors agencies, government at all levels, he stressed that zamfara state chapter of the association needs more support from the state government because due to the security challenges, the donors are yet to come the state.
In her speech the chairperson of the association in the state Hajiya Shema’u Nalado Gusau, thanked the national board member of NAWIA Alh Umar Dan Asabe for the visit, according to her the visit would encourage them for continued struggle to educating women to more participation in agriculture.
Hajiya Shema’u Nalado appealed to the state Government to support the NAWIA in the state because women’s now are more in agriculture, we needs the state government to include woman during the distribution of agriculture inputs for them to benefits the gesture during the especially rainy season.
In his remarks the legal advisor of the association in the state Barrister Kabiru Haruna said the association conducts their activities according with law and order, what needs is that support from the state government.
