Zamfara state government has been commended for its efforts to provide jobs for the youth. The state government was similarly praised for promting community peace, unity and security programs.
This was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary in the state Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Dr Barira Ibrahim Bagobiri in an interview with newsmen at the venue of the concluded National Transformation Programme in Calabar, Cross River state.
The Permanent Secretary said that officials from Zamfara state have spoke on job creation, poverty alleviation and security issues during a session at the Conference.
The Permanent Secretary emphasized the aim of the Zamfara state government of creating unity and peace among Muslims and Christians communities.
Other state government officials who spoke at the National Transformation Programme were Director of Administration Hajia Aina’u Sani Ahmad and Director Women
Hajia Zara’u Abdu Gusau all from the state Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
Dr Barira said that all the participants of the Conference were happy with the speeches presented by the representatives of Zamfara state.
