The Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN) has holds their 2025 national biennial conference and scientific meeting in Kaduna
The Kaduna biennial conference with theme; Global Health, Ethics and transformative Leadership in Charging the World, held at Yar Adua hall Murtala square in Kaduna.
Speaking with journalists the new national president of the association, Dr Zainab Idris Mohammad Kwaru, promised to introduced policies and programmes that’s will protect the integrity of the noble association.
She however reiterates her administration commitment to partner with governments and others stakeholders in promotion the welfare of women’s, Childrens and less preveillege peoples in the society.
“I urged all the members of the association for their support and co operation to the successful deliberation of our agenda’s toward promotion of wellbeing and development of women’s in education.”
The wife of Katsina state governor,, Hajiya Aisha Dikko Radda, advised the MWAN to collaborate With government, professionals civil society and stakeholders in addressing the menace affecting the society
She however calls in the peoples to assist others that don’t have accessible to health facilities for financial reasons so that they can have adequate health care.
While interaction with the participants, Dr Aisha Umar Meleh, MWAN Borno state Chapter, has advised the the peoples above forty years by birth to embrace the constants eyes medical checks to avoid occurring the diseases related and facing the eyes.
She expressed her delight over the successful conduct of the MWAN biennial conference first hosted in northern Nigeria.
Also speaking, Dr Hafsat Banaru Abubakar, President elect MWAN Bauchi state, said ” the conference discussed an very interested topics concerns the impacts of technology its utilization and health care accessibility to women’s and children’s in Nigeria.
She however congratulated all the northern women’s doctors for the emergence of the Dr Zainab Idris Mohammad Kwaru,from Kaduna state, as the first ever national President from northern Nigeria.
