The Minister of Education Mr Tunji Alausa has commissioned a library complex at Federal University Gusau worth over 1b naira.
The Minister who was represented by the vice chancellor of the University professor MG Abubakar at the event said the library has the capacity to accommodate 1500 students at a time
He said the library complex has gulp over a billion naira due to inflationary trend in the society as costs material keep on increasing on daily bases.he further said tetfund was able to provide the necessary financial intervention for the projects.
Mr Tunji emphasize the importance of library in academic environment like university and call for proper use of the facilities to be provided.
He further said the library complex would be equipped with state of the art facilities to met the modern day reality and it served as both research and learning center.
Other structures commissioned are the agricultural threater lecture hall and extension of science department.
