The Maulud Celebration Committee Funtua branch in collaboration with Qafilatul Mahabbah Branch in Funtua town the headquarters of Funtua local government in Katsina state has donated cash grants and medical assistance to 200 patients who were receiving medical attention in Funtua General Hospital.
The Chairman of the Maulud Celebration Committee, Malam Bashir Muhammad King and the Chairman of the Qafilatul Maabbah Barr. Ahmad Tijani Magaji Funtua, said the committee visited the patients to sympathize with them.
They explained that money and food items was also given on the occasion of the birth of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
The committee also visited the hospital and the rehabilitation center to celebrate happy Maulud.
The Chief Imam of the Funtua Jumaat Mosque, Imam Abudurahman Jibril, also led the group of scholars in counseling the patients and their caregivers.
The Imam and other scholars, including Malam Ahidu, the Head of the Kadiriya of Funtua, Malam Yusif Lawandi Sarkin Kara, Khilfa Shehu Halilu, Dandume and Dr Kabir Shehu Rufa’i Bakori, led the group and provided counseling to the patients.
In his remarks, the Director of DNC, Abdullahi D Umar, expressed their gratitude for the gesture accorded to the patients by the committee.
He commended the group for their support to the management of the hospital.
