The National Association of government secondary school Kachia Old boys class of 1982 set (KACHOBA) have hold their 2025 annual general reunion metting in Kaduna.
The class of 82 membership include the present Zamfara state governor, Dauda Lawal, the former minister of state federal ministry for Aviation and peoples democratic party Chairman Kaduna state amongst others, held at Asaa Pyramid hotel in Kaduna.
In his addressed the Chairman KACHOBA 82 set, Alhaji Aminu Aliyu Sarkin Kwarin Dangoma, said ” economically to empowered and eventually reduce poverty and unemployment rate amongst the serving and retired members.
The association pledged to create a revolving loan scheme to assist members to establish small scale and medium businesses that can significantly uplift their life styles.
According to the Chairman, the essence of their gathering is to build unity and harmony as one indivisible and imperishable association vide friendliness, brotherhood, promote foster and advance fellowship among alumni of KACHOBA 82 set extraction.
Also to advance the interest, influence and reputation of GSS Kachia by establishing a medium to served the institutions by restoring the lost glory of the prestigious first public secondary school within southern Kaduna exist, and promotion the good relationship and the welfare of members.
Sarkin Kwarin Dangoma however outlined some of the achievement projects executed; building of school gate,procurement of library and sportd facilities, procurement of computer and an ICT centre, grass cutting mower machines, and sponsored the school golden jubilee celebration in 2017.
He further charged members to endeavour to keep the relationship alive especially the childhoods friends, classmates, course mates, working colleagues and neighborhood.
The meeting however awarded some of their teachers that’s include; Mr Benedict Bijimi, Mrs Christiana Y Ankut, Malan Sani Rabiu and Malam Aliyu Jibrin.
