GOVERNOR LAWAL CONSTITUTES 2025 HAJJ COMMITTEE

In order to ensure the success of the 2025 Hajj operations and welfare of Zamfara pilgrims, Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the constitution of the Amirul Hajj Committee.

Conveying the approval, the Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Nakwada said the committee is to commence operations immediately.

Membership of the committee is as follows:

1. HRH the Emir of Maradun—Leader of the delegation
2. Hon Sulaiman Adamu Gummi
3. Bello Isah Almufty
4. Murtala Adamu Jangebe
5. Abubakar Bello Furfuri
6. Alh Rabi’u Ilili Bakura
7. Malam Ibrahim Izala
8. Malama Sadiya Mahe
9. Malama Hadiza Muhd Gummi
10. Alh Habibu Balarabe — Secretary.

Governor Dauda Lawal mandates the committee to effectively oversee the activities of the State Hajj Commission and other sub-committees; and to ensure total compliance with both local and Saudi regulations throughout the 2025 Hajj exercise.
