The Kaduna state governor Senator Uba Sani has donated the sum of Twenty Millions Naira to the Federation of Muslims association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) account, Kaduna state for the construction of state Secretariat and Islamic center.
The national assembly speaker Tajuddeen Abbas and the major Oil and gas conglomerate, Alhaji Auwal Abdullahi Rano, have also contributed Ten millions Naira each to the state women’s organisation.
The fund rising which was organized by the Kaduna state FOMWAN recently held at ShopRite hall recently in Kaduna.
Governor Uba Sani, represented by the Secretary to the state government Dr Abdulkadir Muazu Meyere, has commended the FOMWAN officials in the state for their commitment towards providing supports to the citizens on education and healthcare facilities.
Governor Sani however assured his government readiness and commitment to partners with FOMWAN in carried out their activities of providing supports and assistance to women’s and vulnerable in the society.
The Chief launcher of the programme, Alhaji Auwal Abdullahi Rano, represented by Professor Muhammad Arsalan Muhammad, faculty of law, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, has encouraged governments and wealthy people’s to invest for the endeavors.
He however calls on the Kaduna state government for upwards reviews and increasement of state civil services salaries in order Carter their day to day needs, and also to reduce corruption while performing their civil duties.
The national Amira of FOMWAN, Dr Sumaye Fatimatu Hamza, has described the impact for the construction of state Secretariat and Islamic center, as avenues for carried out initiative for youth, women and children.
she however explained that, if the center completed, it use to carried out academic activities for both Islamic and vocational education to both males and females students effectively through information technology.
While briefing the journalist after the event, the state Amira of FOMWAN Kaduna state, Hajiya Nafisatu Musa Isah, noted that the state chapter provided the idea to the center for the conduct of research, counsel and serves as multi purpose center.
For women’s and children, to perform their activities properly without any hindrance towards education, healthcare delivery and others initiatives.
