The Federal high Court, Kaduna has granted the bail of former Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufa’i, while presiding the judgement on Tuesday justice Rilwan Aikawa, warranted the bail with Ten conditions for which include, Two hundreds millions of Naira N200m and others nine conditions.
Justice Aikawa is presiding over ten charges bordering on alleged abuse of office, money laundering and fraud involving N579.6 million and $1.1 million, filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
Malam Nasir EL-rufai, earlier broght to court state high Court premises around 9:04am with Helux branded plate number; Abuja BWR 541 CX, in tired security escorts.
Presiding the judgement the Chief Justice of the high Court, Justice Darius Khobo, has adjourned the trial to Tuesday 21 of this month, for Court ruling on the motion of El-rufai.
El-rufai Son, Honourable Bello Nasir EL-rufai, appreciated the thousands of people’s gathered at court premises for showing their solidarity on the trial.
Others witnessed the court presiding, includes; the former PRP gubernatorial candidate Kaduna state Hayatuddeen Makarfi, former Commissioners; Professor Sani Bello,Bashir Saidu, and Senator Babban Kaita, El-rufai wives among others.
