No fewer than Thirty-eight (38) females midwives students of Umar Bin Khaddab College of Nursing Sciences located in Kaura Namoda Town the headquarters of Kaura Namoda local government, Zamfara State have been graduated.
The successful graduates have already taken their induction oath into the midwifery profession, marking the start of their careers Thursday.
During the send-off ceremony at Kaura Namoda Town Hall, Mrs. Zara’u Laraban, the institution’s Director of Midwifery, administered the oath.

She congratulated the graduates and urged them to uphold the responsibilities of their new role.
The college’s Provost, Nurse Malam Sanusi Umar Jabaka, enjoined the newly graduated midwives students to be strong representatives of the institution by adhering to ethical standards, reminding them that their actions reflect the school’s reputation.
Sheikh Yusuf Umar Liman, the proprietor of the collage also encouraged them to perform their duties with a sense of responsibility and compassion, advising them to approach patients with kindness and fear of Allah.
Also speaking, Alhaji Nasiru Garba, Sarkin Sudan of Kaura Namoda and Senior District Head of Kaura Namoda Emirate, commended the college for its contributions to the community through high academic and moral standards.
The ceremony concluded with awards and celebrations, as the new midwives prepared to embark on their careers, ready to serve in various healthcare environments in the state and beyond.
