Zamfara State Signs Agreement for Climate Change Adaptation and Agricultural Value Chain Project

The Commissioner for Agriculture , Hon. Ya’u Haruna Gamji, alongside the Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Mohammad Bello Auta ,the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Alhaji Garba Aliyu Gayari , Acting Coordinator Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammad Nakwada ,and the Director of Debt Management , represented the Zamfara State Government in signing an importan agreement with representatives from the Federal Ministry of Finance , Ministry of Justice ,Debt Management Office and the Islamic Development Bank

The agreement marks the official kickoff of the Zamfara State Climate Change Adaptation and Agricultural Value Chain Project a significant initiative aimed at addressing the challenges posed by climate change and improving agricultural productivity in the state.

The project will focus on enhancing climate resilience, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and strengthening the agricultural value chain to boost food security and economic development in Zamfara State.
