The Kaduna state governor Senator Uba Sani has saluted the members of first aids group of Jama atul Nas rul Islam JNI for their dedication and selfless service to humanity within any corners of the community in Nigeria.
The governor made the commendation during the Fifty years grand anniversary celebration and the national award presentation of first Aid group of JNI, held at Umaru Musa Yar Adua hall Murtala Square in Kaduna.
The governor however pays tribunes to the founding Fathers of aids group in Nigeria; the late Sultan of Sokoto, Sir Abubakar III; the late Emir of Katsina, Sir Usman Nagogo; the late Sheikh Abubakar Gummi; and Shattiman Katsina, Alhaji Muhammadu Ali Kaita.
According to the governor, ‘’they understood, with rare clarity, that the strength of faith is measured not only by devotion, but by service to humanity.’’
‘’ For five decades, this organisation has upheld that principle, advancing education, healthcare, social welfare, and community development, touching lives across religious, ethnic, and social lines,’’ he added.
The Governor noted that the role of the Nigeria Aid Group of JNI alongside sister Aid Groups, in the coordination of Hajj operations, stands as a powerful symbol of discipline, unity, and organisational excellence.
‘’Over the years, the Group has evolved into a professional institution distinguished by its work in advocacy, public awareness, and disaster management,’’ he said.
Governor Uba Sani recalled that his administration has established three Institutes of Vocational Training and Skills Development, training 32,000 youths annually, and equipping them for productive futures.
He however thanked the leadership of the Aid Group for honouring him to serve as its Patron, adding that he received the award of Excellence with gratitude.
He noted that the honour and award are not signs of personal distinction ‘’ but as recognition of our collective commitment to compassion, inclusion, and development.’’
In his addressed the emir of Katsina his highness Alhaji Abdulmuminu Kabir Usman, said ’Overr the years, the aids group achieved significant milestones, including the establishment of schools, hospitals and other developmental projects. We have also been in the forefront in promoting religious interfaith.
He also noted that, the aids group is embarked in given first Aid medical treatment and humanitarian services for those that’s occurred accident or fire outbreak within the society.
Also speaking with legacy newspaper reporter at the event, the national coordinator of the aids group in charge of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara, also Chairman Aid group of JNI, Alhaji Umar Abubakar Mohammad Gusau, said.
The gathering combined all their officials and members from Thirty six state including Abuja,to witnesses the Fifty years anniversary for registration of the aids group in Nigeria, its has established during Late Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna of Sokoto.
The organisation engage on given support to new Islamic convertees the peoples gotten an accident by providing medical attention before taken to the hospitals.
The Chairman, also urged the peoples of Zamfara to woefully salvage the God Almighty with prayers seeking his intervention against the insecurity bedeviling the state,
