The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Zamfara State, Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi, has vow to prioritize security issues if elected the governor of the state.He said insecurity has been the major challenges of the state if properly address farmers would return to the farms to produce more food for the state and nation at large.
Shinkafi made the pledges while addressing large crowd of supporters who gathered to welcome him in Gusau ahead of the inauguration of his campaign council and the flag-off of his campaign activities.
Shinkafi further said if the problems of insecurity is tackle from the grass roots all other issues could esealy be addressed
Addressing the gathering, Shinkafi expressed his condolences to families affected by persistent killing in the state, frawn at the loss of several lives, displacement and destruction of livelihoods caused by bandit attacks.
The ADC candidate also promised to give the people of Zamfara a greater voice in the management of the state’s affairs and urged residents to support him, pleaging to put their welfare at the forefront of his administration when elected.
He further said adequate attention would be given to youth and women groups
