As part of his series of political engagements, the North West APC Presidential Campaign Coordinator and Governor of Zamfara State, Hon Dr Bello Mohammed MON Matawallen Maradun has received a member of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council Hon Dr Hamza Abubakar Haruna who defected to the ruling All progressives Congress APC.

briefed newsmen at the APC North West Zonal Office along Isah Kaita in Kaduna in company of vibrant and agile young political groups from PDP, said his decision to join the APC is to support the north west Campaign Coordinator to earn the zone an overwhelming victory at the 2023 general elections.
He expressed confidence with the political maturity of Governor Bello Matawalle in unifying the party and making APC stronger in the North West geopolitical zone.
Dr Hamza Abubakar said he rejoined the APC considering the fact that the party will take the country to the next level, and expressed optimism that Governor Bello Matawalle’s political strategy will continue to remain indelible in the minds of Zamfara people and North West in general.
He added that he defected along with teeming political groups across the seven states of North West geopolitical zone, who are mostly youths.
Governor Bello Matawalle who earlier received Dr Hamza Abubakar and his entourage,at his resident in Kaduna thanked the young agile politicians for choosing to align with the APC and its Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He informed the defectors that Bola Ahmed Tinubu has mapped out strategic development plans that will consolidate the existing reforms embarked upon by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Governor Matawalle assured them of his commitment as the Campaign Coordinator for Tinubu/Shettima in ensuring that the defectors are well accommodated into the party, and would be carried along in the Presidential Campaign Council of the APC.
