A member of People’s Democratic Party -PDP- from Magaji ward in Gummi local government area, Mohammed Sanusi Gummi has accused the state leadership of the party of Insensitivity and violation of party rules.
In a press release made available to journalists, the aggrieved member outlined his grievances as follows:
- The current party leadership in Zamfara state has been awash with administrative and inclusive issues which in a way want to bring down the party down completely.
- Our party chairmen in all the local government weren’t been carried along on most decisions.
- The recent transition committee list wasn’t in any way reflect the yearning and input of our party stakeholders.
- There’s allegations of compromise in which some members of the so called transition committee have started engaging with government officials in connivance to hide many more evidence in some key ministries.
- The composition of the transition list have not only betrayed the principles of our great party but also have created an uproar all over zamfara state.
- The current leadership have only likened to be a family and friends affairs in regards to its activities and actions previously and in the current events .
- Therefore we have resolve to inform all our party supporters that ;
The transition list is hereby suspended and therefore should be regarded as null and void .
And that in the interim the following step have been taking with immediate effect;
A new interim leadership would be announced in due course.
And the transition committee list is hereby suspended with immediate effect and a new list would be released after due consultation with party stakeholders across the state .
A media press conference would be convened soon and date to be announced .
