The correspondents chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists zamfara state council has pleage to partner with MDAs and NGOs to ensure effective coverage of their activities,
This was disclosed by the chairman of the chapel Ishaq Zaki Tambuwal while receiving the information management team of Federal Medical center Gusau at the press center.
He said the chapel consist of various media Representatives that do not have their headquarters in Gusau who are here to give correct and adequate reports about the happenings in zamfara.
He further said the chapel is willing to ensure all activities of MDAs and NGOs who are here to serve the state are adequately reported and portrayed in good lights out side zamfara, he said MDAs and NGOs should always invite the press for their activities to ensure proper coverage.
He further said journalists would continue to discharge their duties professionally according to the rules and regulations of the profession.
Tambuwal described FMC Gusau as center of excellence in terms of medical personnel and facilities and pleage to ensure adequate coverage of its activities.
Speaking during the visit, the leader of the delegation the public relation officer (PRO) of Federal Medical center Gusau Dr Naziru A Tukur said they were at the press center to formilarise with the Journalists and media houses as he has just resume as the new PRO of Federal Medical center Gusau .
He called for proper collaboration between the press and federal medical center Gusau to enhance its activities.
He further said the doors of FMC Gusau is always open to journalists to inquire or clarify on any issue that affect the welfare of staff and patients at the hospital.
