The Zamfara State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has ordered the immediate closure of Dagama Academy situated along Sokoto – Zaria bypass road , and Farida global academy located at Unguwar gwaza all in Gusau, for failing to comply with operational guidelines and regulations
The action follows the schools misuse of their premises combining academic and residential activities contrary to approved standards in addition to hostile relationships with host communities
The Department of Private Schools, in collaboration with security agencies, has been directed by the Ministry to seal the schools premises without delay.
Additionally, the school management has been instructed to return all official documents issued to them by the government within Forty Eight hours.
The ministry of Education Science and Technology, reaffirmed its mandates to ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in the Education sector in the state
