The people’s Democratic Party has been declared as the winner of the local government election held on Saturday
Declaring the results at the collation center, the executive chairman zamfara independent electoral commission Alhaji Bala Aliyu Gusau said the all PDP candidates have satisfied the provision of the requirements of law to be declared winners.
Bala Aliyu said all the 147 wards political wards has also been won by PDP with 147 counselors across the state.
He commended the parties that participated in the election for show of maturity and commitment to tenants of democracy as there was no reported cases of violence during or after the election.
The chairmen has been issued with certificate of return.
