The zamfara state Head of Service Yakubu Sani Haidara mni has expressed satisfaction with the performance of Governor Dauda Lawal on workers welfare.
He disclosed this while speaking to journalists in his office.He said Governor Dauda Lawal has performed extremely well in terms of workers welfare and other forms workers comportability to ensure optimal performance.
He said the Governor has just increase the workers salary to minimum of 70000 across all categories including the local government staff in addition to introduction of several incentive and allowances to encourage the workers to put in their best .
He further said several training and retraining program has been design for all categories of workers to improve their skills and capabilities in modern technics and reforms in civil service for maximum performance.
Haidara disclosed that the Governor has settled all the outstanding pension and gratitude to the tune of #13 billion to the retired civil servants.
The HOS said all outstanding workers problems in respect of verification and reverification, redeployment would soon be over as effort is on to resolve all pending issues.
He appeal to workers to redouble their efforts and reciprocate the good work of Governor Dauda Lawal to improve the socioeconomics of workers to encourage him to do more.
