Zamfara state government has organized a two day technical session on policy planning, tracking and coordination to fine tune the administration’s rescue mission priorities.
The technical session which was under the office of Secretary to the state Government in collaboration with Natview technical logics was held at the conference hall of Bafra Hotel, Kaduna.
According to a press release issued by the Press Secretary to the SSG, Comrade Nasiru Shehu Aula Dabbakal,
the State Head of Service, Barrister Ahmad Aliyu Liman, had in a goodwill message noted that, the importance of Policy Performance tracking to every Government Could not be over emphasized.
According to him the aim of the retreat was to fulfill the Campaign promises made by the State Governor Dr Dauda Lawal in his rescue mission agenda.
Ahmad Liman further maintained that the implementation of tracking performance of ministries, parastatals and agencies through data collection will help to improve Civil Service in the state.
On his part, the chief of staff Government House, Alh Muktar Lugga expressed satisfaction with the performance of the State permanent Secretaries for their dedication to duty.
Muktar Lugga also said one of the key priorities of the State Government was to ensure implementation of what people needed especially the provision of Social amenities in every angles of human endeavour.
In an opening remark, the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Lawal Hussein praised the effort of the SSG in making the retreat possible alongside with the formation of Central delivery Coordination Committee (CDC) in the state.
According to him, it portrayed his passion for the Success of the administration of Governor Dr Dauda Lawal
He Said the present administration was ever ready to Carry everybody along so as to allow everyone to Contribute for the rapid development especially in the area of civil Service and other aspects respectively.
Also speaking, Secretary to the state Government Malam Abubakar Nakwada Gusau, Urged the participants to Consider the training as a Challenge because Government is expecting positive results from them.
Abubakar Nakwada said the essence of the technical session was to ensure effective delivery of Government’s policies and Programmes.
According to him Government has already Constituted Central delivery Committee so as to stracking performance of the Seventeen ministries in the state.
He directed the ministries to implement such system of delivery process in their respective working places to compliment Government effort in that direction.
The SSG further said the State Governor Dr Dauda Lawal has directed CDC to always Summit its report at quoterly basis Concerning delivery performance of the state Ministries.
The two day technical Session ended with presentation of template of priority areas alongside with questions qnd answers by the participants and facilitators of the retreat.
