Zamfara state deputy governor, Sen.Hasan Mohammad Nasiha has expressed dismay over the low turn out of workers to their respective duty posts.
The deputy governor had expressed his dismay after concluding unscheduled visit to twenty Ministries, Department,and agencies in Gusau, the state capital.
The deputy governor expressed serious concern with the laxity of civil servants and political office holders particularly hournarable commissioners, permanent secretaries and other civil servants for their low turn out to their respective duty post.
Dr Hassan Muhammad Jarman Gusau also said it was lamentable to observe that in all the twenty one ministries and agencies visited only four permanent secretaries were on seat while non of the commissioners were present during the visit.
Hassan Muhammad Nasiha Gusau, how ever explain that the major reason for embarking on the unscheduled visit was for the state government to encourage and emphasis the punctuality as a duty of a civil servants.
Similarly,on the implementing the new minimum wage, Nasiha Gusau urge the leadership of the two labour unions in the state to embarked on the intense sensitization of civil servants on the need to always be at alert to their responsibility as well as reciprocate Government effort.
Jarman Gusau also directed the state Head of service to adopt punishment measure against any civil servants found wanting in the discharge his/her responsibility.
