Zamfara state coordinating office of the Livestock productivity and Resilience support project L-PRES, has conducted a training on Business development and investment plan for livestock farmers and Micro, small and medium Enterprises in the state.
Speaking during the event held at the Conference Hall of the Nigeria army officers mess in Gusau , the State project coordinator Nasiru Mohammed stated that, the training stand as a crucial initiative to empower livestock farmers and other stake holders with the essential knowledge and skills required for sustainable Business growth and development, therefore it is fundamental towards the attainment of the project development objectives
Mallam Nasir who described the training as one of it’s kind since the commencement of the L-PRES project implementation in the state enumerated it’s objectives as :
Equipping the participants with requisite knowledge to create a comprehensive Business plan for livestock enterprise. Educate the attendants on financial modelling and investment strategy for livestock project. Discuss market trends, challenges and abundant opportunities in the livestock sector in addition to strengthening participants understand a Bankable Business plan
The coordinator therefore admonished the participants to avail themselves with the privilege and called for the utilization of the knowledge acquired during the training.
Nasiru Mohammed commended His Excellency the Executive Governor Dr. Dauda lawal for releasing up to date counter fund for the smooth implementation of the L-PRES project in zamfara state.
The project coordinator equally acknowledged the unflinching support from State commissioner for Agriculture Hon. Ya’u Haruna Gamji to the L-PRES project in the state.
The facilitator during the training Ibrahim Hassan magazu, discussed in depth the modus operandi for creating a convincing and sustainable Business Development and investment plan.
