The Hon. Commissioner for Health in Zamfara State, Hon. Abubakar MC Commends the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Zamfara State, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu for the relentless efforts of the Corps in the fight against insecurity and banditry in the state.
Speaking during a working visit to the State Headquarters Gusau, the Hon Commissioner eulogized the Corps in the area of security watch and the intensified robust patrol organized by the Corps since the assumption of office of Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu.
Hon. Abubakar MC opined that, the State has experienced a relative peace due to the activities of NSCDC in the state in recent times.
The Commissioner for Health therefore reiterated the willingness of the Ministry of Health in the state to support in establishing a health care facility in the Corps. He however, enjoined Commandant MB Muazu to feel free and subscribe for anything within the reach of the Ministry.
He therefore assured the Commandant of the Ministry’s indelible support to the Corps in Zamfara State.
The Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu welcomed the Hon Commissioner for Health and appreciated the unscheduled visit to his office.
Commandant MB Muazu said his delight knows no bounds saying that the visit was timely.
The State Commandant however, solicited for the establishment of a health care facility in the Corps which is to serve a dual purpose of caring for the personnel and the immediate community that hosts the state headquarters in Gusau.
Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu also reiterated his resolve to embark on people oriented activities in order to visualize the visions of the Commandant General, Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi MIN OFR in revamping, repositioning, rejigging, restructuring and rejuvenating the Corps in line with international best practices.
The Commissioner who was accompanied by other Very Important Personalities in the State acknowledged the Corps’ support to the State government and promised the Corps a wholesome support of the State government.
