No fewer than 200 patients suffering from different ailments and admitted in various Hospitals in Gusau have benefitted from cash assistance by the president zamfara state chamber of commerce and industries.
Giving the cash assistance at Farida Hoapital, the president of the chamber Alhaji Hamza Musa Maibulawus said, the chamber donated the money to the patients to alleviate their financial burden.
He said, the gesture will continue untill they are discharged from the Hospital.He charged them to consider their condition as a will of God, and part of worshipping Almighty Allah.
At the General Hospital Gusau, the president also donated cash to 70 women and children who were on hospital Beds recieving medication.
The president also paid similar visit to patients at Federal Medical Centre Gusau, where he donated large sum of money to both women, men and children and prayed for their quick recovery.
Hajiya Maryam who is one of the beneficiaries said, the cash donation was timely because they were in dire need of money to settle their medical bills. She thanked the chamber of giving succour to them.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the visit, the zamfara state chamber of commerce preident Alhaji Hamza Musa Maibulawus said, the chamber would continue to assist less priviledged people most especially smale scale traders to boost their trades across the state.
According to him very soon the chamber will start giving out cash loans to business community in the state.He called on all to cooperate with the present government of Governor Bello Muhammed Matawallen Maradun so as to benefit from devidends of Democracy.
Alhaji Hamza was accompanied on the visit by the executive members of the chamber.
