The district head of Tsafe South, Tsafe Emirate Council, Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed Mazawaje has turbaned Alhaji Basiru Salaudeen Ajawo as the new Sarki of Yoruba Tribes of Tsafe East.
Alhaji Basiru succeeded his father’s Alhaji Salaudeen Ajawo, who was the first Sarkin Yoruba tribe in Tsafe local government during the old Sokoto state.
In his addressed the district head of Tsafe south, Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed Mazawaje, said “the emirate considered to turbaned Alhaji Basiru after extensively monitored his character, behaviors, and good relations with fellows tribes, also the capacity of ruling the affairs of Yoruba.
While addressing journalist after the turbaned, the new Sarkin Yoruba, promised stronger the unity of Yoruba peoples as one entities despite the difference in religions, political and economic varies.
He however promised to reconstructs the abundant Yoruba community School’s in Tsafe, also seeks support and cooperation to all Yoruba community.
Alhaji Basiru Ajawo, further appealed to the Zamfara state government for inclusions of Yoruba tribes in all its policies and programme, based on their contributions in providing a peaceful coexistence amongst the peoples of Zamfara state.
He further commended the Emir of Tsafe, Alhaji Muhammad Bawa,and the district head of Tsafe south, Abubakar Mohammed Mazawaje for their recognition and turbaned him to succeeded his father Alhaji Salaudeen Ajawo.
