Traders in Central Market, Gusau, have expressed their profound appreciation to Governor Dauda Lawal for his continued commitment to supporting small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) across Zamfara State.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, several traders described the ₦500,000 grant provided by the state government as a lifeline that will help them restock goods, expand their businesses, and recover from financial challenges caused by the current economic situation.
They noted that the initiative reflects Governor Dauda Lawal’s dedication to improving the living standards of ordinary citizens through practical economic empowerment programmes aimed at promoting self-reliance and reducing poverty.
One of the beneficiaries, Malan yusuf Abubakar mai lemu, commended the governor and the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industries, Hon. Abdulrahman Tumbido, for their tireless efforts in promoting business growth within the state. He emphasized that the gesture will not only enhance the welfare of traders but also stimulate economic activities and job creation in Zamfara’s capital and beyond.
The traders called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to emulate the governor’s vision by supporting initiatives that empower grassroots entrepreneurs and strengthen the local economy.
