The zamfara state program Coordinator of AGILE Hajia Saadatu Abdu Gusau has commended Journalists in the state for their massive support of the program .
She made the commendation while briefing newsmen in her office in Gusau.Hajia Saadatu said since the commencement of the AGILE program in the state media organization has been supportive by given adequate publicity in enlightened the public what the program tend to achieve and the benefits.
She said the media has helped in mobilizing massive support on the general information about AGILE which creat conducive environment for the smooth take off of the program.
She appeal to media to sustain the tempo as AGILE program is ready to partner with the to achieve the desire objectives.
Hajia Saadatu further said their target this year is to rehabilitate 441shools and construct 42 new additional schools for the adolescent girls between the ages of 10 to 20 years as the target.
She said all the necessary facilities would be provided in schools through the School Base Management Committee.
Saadatu said one of the strategy to be adopted to get massive enrollment is through conditional cash transfer where money would be provided for uniforms, transport and other logistics.
She appeal to parents to enroll their adolescent girls in schools as AGILE program would provide all the necessary support to both the parents and students in cash and in kind.
