The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu has warned miscreants and criminals to stay clear from Zamfara State during the yuletide periods.
The State Commandant stated this when addressing newsmen in the Command’s State Headquarters Gusau shortly after the release of operation order for the yuletide season.
Commandant MB Muazu said that the Corps in Zamfara State has deployed over 600 personnel to effectively man the nooks and crannies of the state before during and after the season.
The NSCDC helmsman in the state, reiterated that both personnel on plain cloths and uniform from various units have been effectively galvanized to man the motor parks, recreational centers and other areas of large gatherings especially churches with the goal of forestalling any form of security breach during and after this periods of festivity.
Commandant MB Muazu however warned mischief makers to relocate from Zamfara during this yuletide season as the state is no longer a safe haven for criminals.
The State Commandant therefore charged the Rapid Response Unit , the Agro Rangers and other special units of the Corps to clamp down on anyone who attempts to breach the security peace in this period.
