The Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa political support group has denied that Senator Kabiru Marafa ever received any kind of support from Bello Matawalle
This was contain in a statement sign by the chairman of the group Surajo Garba Maikatako issued to newsmen in Gusau
He said the recent statements by APC Chairman Tukur Danfulani Maikatako claiming that his principal Bello Matawalle assisted Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa, are a complete imagination, lies and falsehood.
Surajo said It was Senator Marafa who helped Bello Matawalle to become the governor of zamfara state through his efforts to ensure that justice prevail in Zamfara political system and those that benefited from Matawalle’s government is a product of Senator Marafa efforts
He said Senator Marafa brought the entire government of Bello Matawalle into existence. Matawalle himself acknowledged this and promised never to betray a promise he has now betrayed, says Surajo
He said the claims by Tukur Danfulani that people are jealous of them is laughable. He matawalle became governor through senator Marafa concerted efforts. “Their attempt to claim our success as their own is the ultimate sign of failure”, he added
Surajo Garba further said Tukur Danfulani and his principal, Bello Matawalle, are failures. Their failure is political, moral, and now, historical. They have failed to honor a sacred debt, failed to uphold their promises, and now fail to even tell the truth about their own origins.
Surajo assured that Senator Marafa, remains fearless in telling truth and strong political force to reckon with, While Matawalle is hunt by serious and specific allegations which he failed to challenge in court.
Surajo Maikatako said We do not envy failures. We stand on the solid ground of truth and principle with Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa.
