No fewer than 600 students have been graduated in Qur’anic recitation in Madarisatul Hisbirrahim in Funtua.
Our correspondent reports that among the students some were completed the memorizations of the glorious Quran.
The Headmaster of the islamiyya Hizburahim funtua Ustaz Salisu Tasi’u expressed his gratitude to the Sultan of sokoto Alh Sa’ad Abubakar III who spent over ten years leading the ceremony of the school.
Ustaz Salisu further explained that, “today we celebrate 33 students completed the memorization of the glorious Quran and 580 completed the recitation of the holy Quran, noting that married women were among the graduants.
He added that, the Madarisatul Hizburahim has over 800 branches in some states in the North such as Kano, Katsina, kaduna, Bauchi and zamfara state.
In his goodwill massage the Sultan of sokoto Alh Sa’ad Abubakar III commended the teachers of Hizburahim for their unwavering support and sacrifice for the propagation of Islamic knowledge in the area.
He also lauded the efforts of Khalifa Aliyu Sa’idu Alti for organizing the event and sustainability of the school.
In his speech the Katsina state Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda who was represented by the secretary to the Government of Katsina state, Alh Abdullahi Garba said Governor Radda’s administration has been given top priority on Islamic knowledge in the state.
He promised to assist the school with all the necessary teaching and learning facilities for the development of Islamic knowledge in the state.
In his vote of thanks, Khalifa Aliyu Sa’idu Alti thanked the Sultan of Sokoto Alh Sa’ad Abubakar III and Katsina state Governor for their unflinching support to the school in the area of Islamic knowledge development.
Khalifa Ali further commended Senator Muntari Dan Dutse, Hon Abubakar Muhammad Total and member representing funtua/ Dandume federal constituency for their unwavering support to the Hizburahim Islamiyya school funtua.
