Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state has again eulogized President Muhammadu Buhari for executing people-oriented federal projects in the state.
Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu made the commendation in Warrah, Ngaski Local Government during the APC campaign in the area to solicit for votes for all candidates of the party in the forthcoming general elections and formally presented Kebbi state APC gubernatorial candidate Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu to the people.In a press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari
the governor was grateful to the Federal Government for including Kebbi state in the Presidential Artisanal Gold Mining project under which 20,000 youths have been legally registered to prospect and exploit gold deposit near Birnin Yauri.
In addition the Federal Government has stationed a military unit to provide security to GB Foods factory and environs at Gafara, constructed the Sokoto – Jega – Yauri – Kontagora road, constructed electricity sub-station in Yauri, established the Hydro-power Producing Areas Development Commission, HYPPADEC as well set up a marine station in Yauri,governor Bagudu enumerated.
The Governor made a passionate appeal to the people in the area to rally round the APC and vote for the party at the polls to secure victory.
He informed the mammoth crowd of APC supporters that the Federal Government has approved twenty-eight billion naira for the rehabilitation of the Malando-Warrah road in view of its enormous economic importance to the nation.
Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu thanked traditional rulers for their support to his administration and requested them to extended such loyalty to his successor the APC candidate Dr. Nasir Idris, God’s Willing.
Mounting the podium the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami SAN, CON, enumerated various social intervention schemes and development projects executed by the Federal Government in Yauri emirate and other parts of Kebbi state, urging the electorate to sustain such legacy by voting for APC for continuity.
The Minister solicited for votes for the APC presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu, the APC Kebbi state gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris and all candidates of the party in this year’s elections to triumph at the polls.
Other personalities who addressed the gathering were the APC gubernatorial candidate Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, the Senator, Kebbi South, Bala Ibn Na’Allah, Director-General APC Campaign Council, former Governor of Kebbi state, Sa’idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, the Member House of Representatives for Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu and Hon. Adamu Birnin Yauri, member of the State House of Assembly.
The rest were Alhaji Mansur Shehu, Alhaji Abubakar Gari Malam, retired Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs, the Chairman APC Elders’ Forum, Alhaji Sani Zauro Hukuma, the State APC Women Leader, Aishatu Abubakar Gunabi, Alhaji Garba Bakanike Yauri, APC Zonal Vice Chairman Kebbi South, the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Alhaji Babale Umar Yauri, who acknowledged projects executed in the area by the government, calling on the electorate to vote for all APC candidates.
