The lawmaker representing Maru and Bungudu local governments of Zamfara state at the green chamber, Abdulmalik Zubairu has denied insinuation making round in the state that he is making plan to contest for governorship under the platform of All Progressive Congress APC, in 2027 in the state.
The law Maker denied this while fielding questions from journalists at his campaign office in Bungudu Zamfara state on Saturday.
According to him, he has never discussed the issue with anybody, stressing that only God Almighty knows the future.
“I never discussed any political ambition with anyone as regard to 2027 election but I submitted everything to God to choose the best for me”. He said.
According to him, those who are making the speculation are doing so based on their well wishes for him.
“I heard about this speculation making round mostly in social media but I defend on God Almighty for he is only the Creator to choose the best for me in future”.
Hon. Zubairu stated that, his main concern now is to concentrating on his current mandate to improve his constituents living conditions in the areas of education, security, healthcare delivery services, provision of portable drinking water, youths empowerment, rural electrification to mention but a few.
“I am now focussing on how to provide basic necessities of life to my constituents in the areas I have mentioned and I will sustain it up to the end of my tenure as member representing them at the federal house of representatives”. He hinted.
He said, he will partner with journalists to go and inspect and assess the positive impact on the projects he executed in his area of jurisdiction.
