In his commitments to ensure a hitch-free 2024 Hajj operations, His Excellency, Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the constitution of the Amirul Hajj Committee with the following membership:
1.His Excellency Malam Mani Malam Mummuni, Deputy Governor—Chairman
2.His Royal Highness, Alhaji Garba Muhammad Tambari, Emir of Maradun—Deputy Chairman
3.Mal. Ibrahim Abubakar—Member
4.Hadiza Mohammed Gummi—Member
5.Aisha Ibrahim—Member
6.Bello Isah Almufty, Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Matters—Member
7.Dr. Lawal Hussein,
Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs—Secretary
8.Mal. Habibu Sheikh Balarabe, Executive Secretary, Zakkat Board—Assistant Secretary.
Governor Dauda Lawal expects the committee to provide effective leadership and coordination of the activities of other government officials to ensure the success of the 2024 Hajj exercise.
The delegation is to commence operations with immediate effect.
