Zamfara state fomer governor, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has embarked on the execution of some projects in Talata Mafara metropolis
According to a press release issued by the governor’s media aid, Dahiru Ssmaila Mafara, the move was “.in his effort to further develop his hometown,Talatar Mafara,and its people.*
Speaking while inspecting the ongoing construction project of the 470 meters road and drainages, Yari directed the contracting firm, the CGC, to mark all buildings detached to the mosque under renovation for possible expansion and payment of compensations to owners of the buildings that might be affected by the development.
He urged the company to ensure quality work and to hasten completion before the coming of the rainy season.
Other projects awarded by the former governor include general renovation of Talata Mafara 1st Jumuat Mosque and construction of Y’ar Kurna Super Market.
In his response, representative of the contracting firm, CGC, Engr. Haruna Iko assured Yari to discharge the project base on contractual agreement and to the taste of former governor Yari
The projects inspected includes, 470 meters road with drainages, expansion of 1st Jumuat mosque and clearance work for the construction of ‘Yar Kurna super market and, all the projects are being executed personally by direct labor inTalata Mafara.
The contract was awarded to CGC construction company.
Among the important personalities who accompanied former governor Yari on the visit are Malam Hamza Abubakar Mafara, Alhaji Sha’aya Yusuf S/pawa, Talata Mafara local government Sole Administrator, Alh. Dahiru Mai Yara Garbadu, Alh. Samaila S/pawa and Alh. Bello Almustafa Dogo, respectively.
