As Muslims celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Ahmad Abdurrahman, Chief Security Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor, extends warm felicitations to Bauchi State citizens and Nigerians.
In a Press statement signed and made available to newsmen by Abdullahi Alhassan the Chief Press Secretary said.
“This joyous occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration with loved ones, and prayers for national development. We commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, reminding us of obedience, faith, and sacrifice.
He called on Bauchi State citizens to Nigerians as a whole to support government efforts in maintaining peace and security. We must work together to ensure a safe and prosperous state. I urge citizens to provide information that could lead to the arrest of criminals.
The Chief Security Adviser therefore called on pilgrims performing Hajj, I wish you a safe and accepted pilgrimage. I call on you to pray for peace, unity, and stability in Bauchi State and Nigeria. Your prayers are crucial. Only with peace can development thrive in our country.
He emphasized that “Development and peace are intertwined. Without peace, progress is impossible. I assure Bauchi State people that the government is committed to ensuring their safety and security. We will address security challenges and create an environment conducive to growth.
The Chief Security Adviser calls on citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity. Unity and cooperation are essential in building a stronger, more prosperous, and peaceful Bauchi State. I thank Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his leadership and vision.
